Description

BeerVersusBeer.com was designed as an in-house training project in the use of JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX techniques in conjunction with an adaptation of an advanced rating algorithm called the "Elo Rating System". The Elo system was designed decades ago for the purpose of rating relative skill levels of players in two-player games, like chess. The system is still used today as the de facto measurement for chess professionals worldwide.
