SEO: Spiders can’t crawl Flash or images

Posted July 30th, 2010 in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and tagged , , by Matt

Search engine optimization (SEO) is critical to the success of your business’ site. It must be considered at the design-time. Choosing to put everything into Flash or images will hurt SEO efforts. Search engines crawlers, like Googlebot, can’t read these elements. They read meta data and the text on your site. Don’t stuff all your content into non-crawl-able elements, or you’ll later be working to retrofit your site.

We had a lot of trouble with the last SEO company, been doing a bit of research on search optimization in my spare time and next time I will probably be calling you to have a go at it. After reviewing your site it’s clear you guys know what you’re doing.
