Microsite for a Mobile Phlebotomy Startup in Need of a Small, but Professional Web Presence - MobiPhleb
Categories: WebMost startups, unless they are backed by wealthy investors or have already secured large contracts, have very limited funds. However, they also have a great need for effective marketing tools that will help get their businesses off the ground as quickly as possible.
For startups that come to us with limited marketing budgets, but that need a web presence right away, we often recommend a microsite, rather than a full website. A microsite is essentially a landing page, or a two- or three-page website, that gives the startup the web presence it needs but at a much lower cost than a full website build.
A Microsite to Support Other Marketing Efforts
MobiPhleb was a new mobile phlebotomy company in Southern California. They were doing a lot of marketing and networking on their own—approaching doctors’ offices, senior living facilities, home health agencies, and others to get the word out about their new company—but they also needed an online presence to which they could send potential clients.
We worked with the MobiPhleb founder to produce a one-page website that includes information about the company and the services it provides. The page also includes a statement from the founder, which outlines her experience in the industry, her passion for her work, and her commitment to patient care.
When potential clients land on the MobiPhleb microsite, they see that this is a professional patient care company, and they have an easy way to reach out for more information or to schedule service.
Establishing a Foundation for Future Marketing
Even though the MobiPhleb website is small, the Modmacro team was still very intentional in its design, knowing that it would be the foundation for future marketing efforts, including a more extensive website down the road. We took the time to help the company establish its brand, which included visual aspects like colors and fonts, but also its brand voice. In the site’s verbiage, we emphasized the convenience aspect of mobile phlebotomy, as well as the company’s commitment to providing quality care.
When the company’s marketing budget allows, we will be able to use many of the microsite’s elements to produce a larger website with a similar look and feel.
