This week, May 12 – 16 is National Small Business Week. The intention is to recognize “the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.” Since 1963, the President issues a proclamation announcing Small Business Week each year. In this year’s proclamation the President said “Today marks the beginning of National Small Business Week, a time to highlight the crucial role that America’s small businesses play in our economy. Employing millions of Americans and creating nearly two out of three new jobs, America’s small businesses are the backbone of our economy. More than that, our small businesses represent what is best about America.”
We’re passionate about the relationships we build with our small business clients and partners and it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the risks and burdens we embrace and endure as small business owners and entrepreneurs. So to all our small business friends we say, Happy Small Business Week!
